We are looking for a conscientious and friendly person to join our hard working and friendly team to support an individual student with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The main responsibilities of the role are to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of an individual pupil to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them. The suitable candidate would work under the direct instruction of the SENCo.


The post is both rewarding and challenging, requiring flexibility and commitment to raising standards of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting pupils with additional educational needs, particularly individuals with a high level of need associated with Autism and speech and language needs.


Applicants must be dedicated and inspiring to individuals who will make a real difference to the pupils and help them achieve their potential for the year. Candidates must read the job description and be able to fulfil the person specification and the above criteria.
