Reception Baseline Assessment
Please see this booklet for parents which tells you more information about the government's Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) which happen within the first 6 weeks of your child starting at school.

Transition Timetable for Reception 2024
Welcome meeting for all Reception parents: Monday 17th June, 9:00am
Home visits for new children: Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July
(parents return paperwork to Reception staff)
Transition sessions for pupils new to Sherwood Park:
Wednesday 17th July 1:30pm- 3.00pm and Thursday 18th July 9:30-11.00am
Children spend time in their classrooms with their teachers and support staff (all paperwork must be returned before children can take part.)
Transition sessions for current Nursery pupils:
Tuesday 16th July (pm) and Wednesday 17th July (am)
September 2024
Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th September: Children attend 8:45am – 11:30am
Thursday 5th and Friday 6th September: Children attend 8.45am – 1:15pm
Monday 9th September onwards: Children in all day (Usual hours)
