Reception Baseline Assessment
Please see this booklet for parents which tells you more information about the government's Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) which happen within the first 6 weeks of your child starting at school.

Transition Timetable for Reception
Wednesday 14th June, 9:00am Welcome meeting
Thursday 6th and 7th July Home visits for new children - parents return paperwork to Reception staff
Tuesday 11th and 18th, 1:15pm to 2:45pm Transition afternoons - children spend the afternoon in their classrooms with their teachers and support staff (all paperwork must be returned before children can take part)
Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th September: All children do half a day with no lunch, 9:00am – 11:30pm
Thursday 7th and Friday 8th September: All children do half day with packed lunch, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Monday 11th September onwards: All children in all day (Start between 8:30am and 8:45am, End at 3:15pm)
