Year 2
Pine Class have been working hard at home around the book 'How the koala got his stumpy tail'. They created their own storyboards around the key parts of the story using images and text as well as making artwork around the wider Australia topic. Fantastic working from home Betsy, Jay, Maisey, Leo, Freddie and Lenny!
Year 6
Year 6 looked at the graffiti artist Banksy, in particular his artwork "Girl with a Balloon." They discussed graffiti as an art medium and the children were then asked to create their own piece of street art/graffiti and explain its meaning. This is Ronnie's masterpiece!
Year 6
Year 6's country of study this year is India. The children have been finding out information about the country and organsing them into Factfiles. Just look at this one by Archie in Ash Class. Brilliant presentation and he's clearly learnt lots! Well done.
Year 3
Can you guess what country Year 3 have been studying? In school, our key worker children have been using collage techniques to make the flag of the country. Have you guessed the country yet...? That's right, it's Italy! Molto bene!
Nursery
We have been blown away by how even our youngest learners have thrown themselves into home learning. Isn't this work by Sapling class just amazing! They have been learning the S sound and the number 2. A very big well done to Albert, Beatrice, Cody, Daisy, Darcie, Ernie and Lucas!!
Year 4
Year 4 are becoming experts at home learning. Whether it's coaching their younger siblings during a PE session or presenting us with their science work. Well done girls!
Reception
Again some of our youngest children in Cherry class have blown us away with their home learning. They have been finding out about Space. Look how clever they have been exploring books, art and other media! And what fantastic writing too! Well done Gabrial, Abigail, Alice, Joshua, Grayson, Louie, Lucas, Sienna, Kimberly, Ava and Sophia - you are super stars!
Year 4
Year 4 have been learning about Brazil. Poppy and Victoria have done a fabulous job of creating these posters to share all of the information they have found! Great writing and artwork. We can't wait to display these in school once we are all back together!
Year 2
The Year 2 children in school have been pizza making as part of their Science work this week. Everything was made in a Covid safe way, also teaching them key aspects of food hygiene and preparation. They look pretty yummy too!
Year 1
Year 1 have been finding out about Russia. Just look at the Russian doll art that they produced using Miss Preedy's template. Miss Trevillion even showed them some real Russian dolls on their live Zoom! Well done to Anushga, Ava, Willow, Ayla, Ivy, Poppy and all the other children who sent through their artwork.
Year 2
Year 2 are in full swing of their 1960s topic now and have created some Andy Warhol inspired art. Fantastic and colourful work - well done!
Year 1
Last week the children wrote and performed speeches warning people about a fire as if they were a Town Crier in 1666! What amazing, confident speakers!
Year 5
Year 5 have been creating mountain collages as part of our art learning. The children were tasked with creating their collage using materials they could find around their homes. Look at what Jayden and Sophie achieved! Isn't it fantastic!
Year 6
What amazing Maths learning from James in Year 6! Keep up the excellent work! Your teacher is SUPER proud of you!!
Year 3
Year 3 have mastered Spike Milligan's classic poem 'On the Ning Nang Nong', with their very own actions, as part of Story Telling Week. Miss Trevillion even got to see the remote learners having a go when she popped into their Zoom on Monday! Good work everyone!
