Our Remote Learning Offer
This is a challenging time for our children, families and staff while we get to grips with a new way of working through remote learning. In this area we hope to provide support and celebrate our achievements during lockdown.

Accessing the work
Our children are able to access the work set each day through their DB Primary community 'classroom'. The class teachers will send emails, set tasks, share links and upload videos etc. through this DB page.
The work
Sherwood Park offers a combination of live lessons, recorded teacher sessions and other independent online recources for the children to access. Children upload their work each day for teachers to give feedback.
We have purposely made our approach to home learning flexible as we understand that it can be difficult to manage at home, particularly when there is more than one child and children are sharing devices. We are here to help and support your children whether in school or at home so please stay in contact with your class teacher about any worries or troubles you have.

[my child] is benefiting from them [live lessons] more than just sitting doing her work by herself (it also seems to motivate her to do the reading exercise each morning before)...She really enjoyed the Maths today because it was fun and interesting and she's currently researching koalas to draw a big picture over the weekend - Year 2 Parent.
